Oneida is the first known brand of flatware that is made in USA. It was founded in Oneida, NY in 1880 and grew to become the world’s largest flatware producer. However, they are not around today as they filed for bankruptcy in 2006. Oneida had been headquartered in Sherrill, NY in 2004.
