  6. Pour the remaining 3 oz of water to fill to the top of the filter and wait for the coffee to drip.

  7. It may take up to 7 minutes for the coffee to drip slowly. Once done with the coffee drip, you may now stir the coffee and add some ice cubes to create Vietnamese iced coffee.


Unlike Americano brewed coffee, Vietnamese iced coffee  is much smaller and its flavor is much sweeter and punchier due to the presence of sweetened condensed milk. If the volume of Vietnamese iced coffee isn’t enough to satisfy your coffee needs, you may use a larger phin filter. You can also do a  second pour of hot water in your phin filter to get more coffee drip in the final brew.
